I have always liked the mustangs but really liked this body style the most. In 89 I bought a brand new mustang with the 4 cylinder (that is all I could afford) and was not happy with it. It just did not symbolize to me what a mustang was about - POWER. From that moment on I was on a quest for muscle car. I looked for a couple of years for my favorite style, the 5.0 mustang LX - hatchback. It was difficult to find a used one that someone was willing to sell that had also not dogged it out. I came across a lot of GT's but that is not what I wanted. I eventually gave up and got me a real sporty green 93 Chevrolet Cavalier with the 6 cylinder and flare package, Again It just wasn't what I wanted. One day I was looking in a auto trader magazine and on the front was this white LX with the 5.0 in the next state over. It was only a 45 minute drive from Louisville, KY to Corydon, IN. but the guy said no one was willing to drive to look at it. I was the first one to make the trek. I pulled up in his driveway and there it seat as clean a whistle and with low mileage. I did not even bargain with him I drove it and said I will take it. I have been very happy with this car for the last 3 years and have no intentions of getting rid of it. It is what I wanted and it is paid for. The mustang is a fun car and I would recommend it to anyone.
