Welcome to THE HOME of Carbureted Ford Tech on the Internet. I have tried to gather some the most useful tech knowledge that I have compiled over the years. Most of the articles I have written, while others are from magazines or fellow Fordnatics. Not all articles are up and running or even written yet, but this section is always being updated so check back often. Joe Sherman's 400 Hp 302 This is the famous article that appeared in both Mustang and Fords magazine and 5.0 Mustang (June 1998). Joe Sherman was able to extract 400 Hp from a carbureted 302 on a very modest budget.
Dyno Testing Ford's RHO 5.0L Engine Progressive carburetor engine build up using Ford's Remanufactured 5.0 motor. Originally appeared in Hot Rod Magazine January 1991 issue, includes 4 dyno runs.
Carburetor Contest Super Ford June 1999 article on testing of seven different carburetors on a nicely built up 5.0.
Small Block Ford Intake Survey Intake survey article from Super Ford July 1988. Includes 10 different intakes tested on the same engine.
Intake Porting for Power Car Craft November 2000 article by Steve Dulcich. The pics of the Edelbrock Torquer 289 intake are worth their weight in gold.
