Engine

engineonstand.jpg - 20kB
This is the engine before it was installed. Check out the 1.7 Cobra rocker arms and the cool Edelbrock Torquer intake.

intake.jpg - 13kB
I had to pay $125 for an Edelbrock Torquer intake, but ask anyone that has ever used one - It was worth it. Check out the twist on the carburetor to more evenly distribute the mixture.

oilpan.jpg - 26kB
I welded baffles in the stock oil pan to help keep oil near the pickup during acceleration and braking. I also added a windage tray for more oil control. This modification is straight out of the Mustang Performance Handbook Vol. 1

This is what it looks like when you take and gut a car of all power accessories and drop in a bad little 302. Remember this car is daily driven about 35+ miles to and from work.
