Fletch's 5.0 Carbureted Mustangs started on September 1st, 1998. Since then it has grown to one of the largest personal Mustang pages on the web. In December 2000 I started the Carb'd Ford Message Board, and then in January 2001 I acquired the carbedMustang Mailing List. This site has now become THE place to go for Carb'd Ford tech on the web. My goal is to provide tech for both beginner and advanced Stang lovers. I have a personal love for fast daily driven street / strip Fords and will try to provide information to help you build the car of your dreams.

My qualifications include a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with over 20 years of working on both old and new Fords. I have built numerous engines and performed almost every type of mechanic work possible. I enjoy drag racing and doing all my own mechanical work.

Other interests include basketball and the family. See the pics below for those who help me on my projects.

This is my son Tommy and me working on the car when he was about 15 months old. You got to start them young. Yes, his favorite car is daddy's Mustang.

It doesn't get any better than this.

This is my sweet wife Amy. She doesn't love to work on cars but every once in a while I can talk her into it whenever I need an extra hand.

Here my nephew Brad is helping me put the 11" brakes on the front, check out the pictures of how it turned out in the story of my car.

Like I said, Tommy loves to help with the cars. This is my niece Emily washing the Taurus wagon with him.

Tommy also loves to drive the Mustang. In the first picture he is honking the horn telling the junk Chevys to get out of the way. In the second picture he says, "Da, Da's Mustang; Vroom, vroom; Tires squeal!!!"
